This Privacy Policy explains how INDEX Video handles information when you use the INDEX Video mobile application and related services.
1. Information we may process
Account and profile information
When you sign in, we may process account identifiers and profile information needed to provide your account. Sign-in may be provided through Google or Apple. Depending on the information you choose to add, your profile may include a display name, profile image, bio, region or other profile details.
User content
We process content you choose to upload or create, including videos, photos, captions, comments and related media information, so the content can be stored, displayed, moderated and shared through the service.
Social and ranking activity
We may process actions such as likes, follows, comments, reports and ranking-related activity in order to operate the social feed, creator rankings, safety systems and anti-abuse protections.
Device, diagnostics and usage data
We and service providers may process technical data such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate region inferred from network information, app interactions, crash information and performance information for security, analytics, reliability and advertising.
Advertising and tracking
INDEX Video may display advertising using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). On iOS, where tracking permission is required, the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission before access to tracking identifiers such as the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you deny permission, the app can continue to show ads without access to IDFA.
2. How we use information
- Provide sign-in, profiles, feeds, uploads, comments, follows and rankings.
- Store, deliver and process user-generated photos and videos.
- Detect abuse, spam, fraud, manipulation and other violations.
- Review user reports and enforce community and safety rules.
- Provide, measure and improve advertising where applicable.
- Monitor performance, fix crashes and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.
3. Service providers
INDEX Video uses third-party service providers that may process data on our behalf or under their own applicable terms. These can include:
- Supabase for backend, authentication-related services, database and storage functions.
- Google for Google sign-in and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) advertising services.
- Apple for Sign in with Apple and iOS platform services.
- Infrastructure, media delivery, moderation, security and analytics providers used to operate the service.
Third-party providers may collect information as described in their own privacy documentation and according to the features enabled in INDEX Video.
4. User-generated content and visibility
Content and profile information you choose to publish may be visible to other users. Information posted publicly should not be treated as private. Do not upload content or personal information that you do not want other users to see.
5. Retention and account deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect users, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and purpose.
You can request account deletion from within INDEX Video through the account/settings area. When an account deletion request is completed, account data is deleted or anonymized subject to legitimate security, legal, fraud-prevention and backup-retention requirements.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection regarding personal data. You may also manage iOS tracking permission in your device settings.

7. Children
INDEX Video is not intended to be used in violation of applicable age requirements. If we learn that personal information has been collected in circumstances that require deletion under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their account credentials and devices.
9. International processing
Because INDEX Video and its service providers may operate across multiple countries, information may be processed outside your country of residence where permitted by applicable law and subject to appropriate safeguards.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, legal requirements or our data practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
